St. John's has extraordinary opportunities for great Gospel ministry. God has placed us right in the heart of Parramatta, the second largest CBD in Sydney.

St. John's has four English speaking congregations, a multitude of  weekday ministries and the privilege of having our services broadcast to thousands around Sydney on Hope 103.2 (Sundays at 7pm).

Some years ago St. John's recognised that Sydney and especially Parramatta is increasingly multicultural and the Gospel of Jesus must reach these many cultures and language groups. In response, St. John's now has congregations that speak Mandarin, Cantonese and Farsi. These groups are an integral part of our church. Further, there is a growing second generation of English speaking youth and young adults coming out of all our congregations. This next generation will form a new congregation in 2011 called Engage.

There are many ways that you can partner with us in ministry. First and foremost pray for the spread of the Gospel here in Parramatta and abroad. Second, consider financial support. In 2011 we will have nine congregations that meet on Sundays and around 50 groups that meet in the hall complex during the week. To accommodate our needs in the short term, we purchased an adjacent building a few years ago but we are unable to make use of it until it is paid for. In the medium to long term we aim to redevelop the Halls to provide an auditorium for the next generation.
